Santa Clarita City Councilman Frank Ferry visited Providence Holy Cross Hospital this week to share his experience as a patient with the Providence Foundation Board of Governors.
On New Year’s Day Ferry was released from Providence Holy Cross Medical Center after a month’s stay being treated for complications following pancreatic surgery on November 30. Initially, his prognosis was not good.

After his presentation Monday, Ferry wanted to thank the nurses who took care of him during his stay in intensive care and following recuperation.
Many of the nurses did not recognize the councilman, who came to them critically ill and has now bounced back to excellent health. Along with smiles from the staff, it was reported there were tears of joy that he looked so well.
