Festival Of Trees Opens Holiday Season

Event benefits the Boys and Girls Club

[view:node_ad=5]Saturday evening, the holiday season got its un-official kick off, at the Festival of Trees. A growing tradition here in Santa Clarita, the Festival of Trees opens one weekend every November to put uniquely decorated holiday trees on display for the public.

Observers flocked to the Hyatt this year to view the trees, which were specially designed by a host of businesses and community members, all with a distinctive theme.

On Saturday evening, an exclusive Gala was held to celebrate the festival, and to raise money for the event’s beneficiary, the Santa Clarita Boys and Girls Club. Each of the trees was auctioned off, and winners will be able to display their trees in their homes for the holiday season.
