Two men are at the hospital being treated for injuries suffered in a Wednesday afternoon altercation, and sheriff’s deputies are waiting to escort them to jail when they are bandaged up and ambulatory.
According to Lt. Tom Bryskie of the Santa Clarita Valley station, a woman called for help shortly after 1:30 in a neighborhood behind Canyon Country Park on Sarita Avenue.

She told deputies that her boyfriend had pushed her, so she called her brother, who came to her aid, bearing a baseball bat.
The boyfriend was armed with brass knuckles and during the fight, both men were pretty badly beaten. They were both transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital for treatment and will be arrested for assault when they’re well enough to travel.
The suspects’ names were not available.
