A brushfire fire broke out near the northeast corner of Sand Canyon and Soledad Canyon Road shortly before 10pm Monday. The fire burned 5-acres just west of the 14 freeway – north of the southbound entrance to the freeway. L.A. County Fire has confirmed that 2 homes were destroyed in a nearby trailer park. The blaze jumped the freeway just before midnight. As of 4:30am Tuesday, fire crews had this blaze knocked down.
