A Saugus man came home from work to find his mobile home destroyed by what authorities suspect was an electrical fire.
According to Lt. Joseph Efflandt of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s station, firefighters responded to the call of a fire in the mobile home park in the 16200 block of Vasquez Canyon Road shortly after 4 a.m., where they found the man’s home engulfed in flames.
Efflandt said that the initial damage estimate was $100,000 and that it looked like the source was an amplifier inside the house.
