The small brush fire near Sierra Highway and Vista Del Canon was knocked down at 2:04 p.m., according to Anthony Akins, spokesman for Los Angeles County Fire.

Final size was reported at less than an acre.

No structures were threatened, and equipment is being released from the scene.

ORIGINAL STORY

A small grass fire was reported near Sierra Highway and Via Princessa in Canyon Country at 1:26 p.m. Thursday, according to Los Angeles County Fire officials.

A standard first alarm response, or 115 personnel, have been dispatched to the scene.
