Winds expected to gust up to 60 MPH.
A fire weather watch has been issued by the National Weather
Service due to a cold low pressure system that is expected to create gusty and
potentially strong wings across a large portion of Southern and Central
California over the next three days.
Wind gusts are expected to peak at around 50 MPH with gusts
at 60 MPH along the Interstate 5 corridor. The magnitude and drying effects of
these winds will create favorable conditions for fire growth, especially over
the interior valleys and mountain ranges.
