The Los Angeles County Fire Department received a report of flames involving a fence on the 15000 block of Spring Canyon Road around 1:23 p.m.

The flames reached 50 feet by 50 feet in size before an engine arrived on scene within about six minutes of the call.

“The fire was out within a moment of them arriving on scene,” said Anthony Akins, Los Angeles County Fire Inspector.

The last unit left the station at approximately 2 p.m., and the fire was completely extinguished by 2:50 p.m.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
