First Ever SCV Jazz Festival Slated For Sept. 6th

Russ Group, Inc takes their local jazz concerts to the next level.

[view:node_ad=5]After years of bringing big name smooth jazz musicians to Santa Clarita, the Russ Group, Inc has now solidified their local ties with the formation of an annual event.

 

The Santa Clarita Jazz Festival will kick off its inaugural run Saturday September 6th at the Valencia Country Club, featuring a day long lineup of smooth jazz recording artists.

 

Musicians committed to the festival include Kim Waters, Jeff Lorber, Urban Jazz Coalition, Joyce Cooling, Al Williams Jazz Society (featuring Barbara Morrison), Phyllis Battle and JB Saxx.

 

The music begins at 1:00 p.m. and several ticketing categories are available. Lawn seats run $50, premier box seats are $70 and the VIP concert package runs $150.

 

A 3 course dinner is included VIP package, along with 3 complimentary drinks, a souvenir, passes to the “tented” VIP area and an opportunity to meet the artists.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Child and Family Center for the Santa Clarita Valley.
