Follow-Home Robbery Suspect From Stevenson Ranch Still At Large

khts_crime_genericDeputies are looking for a suspect who grabbed a woman’s purse when she returned home from the Stevenson Ranch branch of the Bank of America.

The victim told the sheriff’s department that she arrived at her home in the 25000 block of Bowie Court in Stevenson Ranch shortly after 3 p.m. and was assaulted by a thin black man in his mid-20s wearing a black shirt and black pants who took her purse and sped away in a dark car.

Surveillance cameras captured a suspect matching that description in a car near the bank, enabling deputies to refine the vehicle description to a late model Dodge Charger with tinted windows. It was last seen headed toward Stevenson Ranch Parkway.

A similar follow-home robbery occurred in Acton earlier this week; detectives are investigating if the two incidents could be related.
