Three adults and one juvenile booked after freewaypursuit.
A Friday afternoon pursuit and continuing investigation resultedin the arrest of four Palmdale residents who are being held onfelony burglary charges.
Justin Culver and Davion Thornton, both 18, and a 16-year oldjuvenile were arrested after Santa Clarita Valley deputies found aransacked house on Raquel Lane in Canyon Country and broadcastsuspect information, which was picked up by the CHP. Officersspotted their vehicle on the Antelope Valley freeway at SantiagoCanyon Road, but the suspects refused to stop.
A pursuit involving both CHP and Palmdale station deputiesensued, coming to a halt when the suspects crashed into a lightstandard near East Avenue R-8 and 15th Street East. Three of thesuspects were apprehended at the scene and deputies tracked downthe fourth suspect, Brennen Barnes, 18, arresting him aroundmidnight on Friday.
Deputies recovered nearly $7,000 worth of suspected stolen propertyfrom the suspect’s vehicle, including firearms, a TV set,jewelry, personal items and electronics taken from at least twoSanta Clarita residences, including a Friday morning burglary onFairgate Avenue in Newhall. Much of the property has been returnedto its rightful owners.
Culver, Thornton and Barnes are each being held in lieu of $50,000bail; the juvenile was sent to Sylmar Juvenile Hall for housingpending court proceedings.
