Sara Montrose from the Weingart Foundation and Jolene Chavira from the
California Community Foundation at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center.

The seminar offers attendees the rare opportunity to speak with fundraising
experts who will reveal an inside glimpse of successful grant ideas and
proposals that could help local non-profit agencies and educational institutions,
including K-12, community colleges, and four-year universities in the Los
Angeles area.

“Meet the Grant Makers provides an opportunity for local non-profits to learn
about private grant relationships from the best source, the foundation
representatives themselves,” said Elana Edelstein, a grant writer at the
college. “Attendees will gain valuable information on the types of projects
that funders find most compelling and learn the best ways to build a
relationship with a prospective funder.”

A pre-seminar reception will be held at 10 a.m.
The seminar will be from 10:30 a.m.
to 12:30 p.m. at the Santa Clarita
Performing Arts Center, followed by a question and answer session with the
presenters.
