The grandson of former community leaders Gene and Laurie Taylor was involved in a serious accident last weekend and a local restaurant has stepped up to help raise money for his rapidly-mounting medical bills.
Cody Taylor, 19, suffered severe head trauma when he fell from the back of a pickup truck while working a fundraiser at his college in Arizona. He is hospitalized and has been through at least one surgery to remove pressure on his brain. His prognosis is good, but his hospitalization could last awhile.
