The Yes I Can (YIC) program, which has brought Santa Clarita the Summer Meltdown concerts since 2004, is hosting a series of fundraisers to help raise money for next years event.
The Yes I Can program teams students from schools throughout the valley with special needs students to work toward a goal of throwing the Summer Meltdown concert. The students produce the entire concert from booking the bands to production while developing teamwork and using the learning tools they are taught in their class.

Fundraisers to help the program will be held at these local establishments:
- Wednesday October 7 at Una Mas -15 percent will be given back to YIC from 11-9pm. Just tell them that you are supporting YIC at the register when you pay. There will be Guitar Hero/Rock Band on the large screen.
- Monday October 12 at Islands Restaurant – 20 percent will be given back to YIC from 3 to t 10 p.m., including alcohol.
- Friday October 23 at Mountasia – 50 percent will be given to the YIC program fundraiser from 3-11pm. Mountasia will be providing a special package for $19.99 that includes unlimited miniature golf, go karts, bumper boats, laser tag, rock walls, and regular video games.
