The cause of Duncan’s death remains unknown.
At approximately 7:30 a.m. on Monday, a homeowner discovered Duncan’s body in his front yard on Irvon Trail in a residential neighborhood.
It had snowed heavily the night before.
On Tuesday, an autopsy revealed no trauma to the body or foul play involved. The Kern County Coroner’s office is handling the investigation.
“Since we don’t have any evidence of a crime occurring the investigation goes to the Coroner’s Office,” said Sgt. Mark Brown of the Kern County Sheriff’s Frazier Park Substation.
Authorities are awaiting the results of toxicology tests.
“From past experiences, it could take weeks to get the results of those tests” he said. “Since there was no foul play involved, they’re not going to rush it through.”
