Named One of the Top in the Greater San Fernando Valley Region
On Wednesday, August 15, 2007 the San Fernando Valley Business Journal again named Gary E. Condie of Condie & Wood, CPA's, P.C. in Valencia, California as one of the top 25 CPA's in the greater San Fernando Valley region.
The Journal indicated that nearly 100 CPA's had been nominated for the award noting that several thousand CPA's work within this region.
The Journal pointed out that CPA's work in many different areas and that they had selected those individuals who have risen to the top of their respective fields of expertise. Condie was recognized for his accomplishments in public as well as private accounting, his leadership in the California CPA Society, his involvement in community service and his frequent participation as a conference and seminar speaker.
Condie is a former president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the California Society of CPA's and has also served multiple terms as a member of the organization's State Board of Directors. He has also served as President of the Santa Clarita Valley Boys & Girls Club, Chairman of the Board of the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Foundation and as a member of the William S. Hart School District Advisory Board.
He currently serves as Vice President of the Santa Clarita Valley Boys & Girls Club Foundation, Vice President of the Santa Clarita Valley Facilities Foundation (William S. Hart School District) and as a member of the College of the Canyons Foundation Board of Directors.
In 2005, Condie was named the Santa Clarita Valley Man of the Year.
In 2006, Condie received the Boy Scouts of America Leader of Character Award. In 2005 and again in 2006, Condie was included in the Signal’s publication of the 51 most influential people in the Santa Clarita Valley.

In 1996, Condie was named by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the top 30 accounting executives in Los Angeles County.Condie is a 1969 graduate of Brigham Young University. He and his wife Myrna are residents of the Santa Clarita Valley.
