Construction crews break gas line at building site.

[view:node_ad=5]Traffic was moving slowly around the site of a gas leak on Tourney Road near Magic Mountain Parkway Monday morning.

According to fire officials, at about 8:11 a.m. they received a call that a member of the construction crew working on the Exxon Mobil pipeline in the area broke part of the gas pipe, resulting in a leak. The crew immediately began fixing the leak, however traffic had to be impacted while the repairs were made. Two LA County Fire units were on scene for safety purposes, but the pipe was fixed without incident.

No one was injured and traffic has resumed to its normal flow.
