The Southern California Gas Company has proposed the construction of a pipeline that would bisect the city of Santa Clarita from the far northwest corner to Quigley Canyon….
The line, necessary to move additional supplies of natural gas, would extend for almost 8 miles and cross over the Santa Clara River.
An environmental impact report is in the works, which will be produced by the U.S. Coast Guard, the Maritime Administration and the California State Lands Commission.
