If you are like me, exercising can sound like a chore and something I "should" do to stay healthy.  We are blessed to live in a City that makes exercising and staying healthy fun!  You may wish to consider registering for a new class called Running 101.  Sound too strenuous?

We'll start out walking and talking together on brisk walks as we enjoy the beauty of our City's trails and parks.  Our expert instructor, Rawlins Jordan with the Santa Clarita Runner's Club, enthusiastically teaches us the basic principles of running and provides us with tips about the selection of running shoes, clothes, food and [view:node_ad=5]more.  The class is geared for anyone who has an interest in learning how to increase their fitness and enjoyment of life through a low stress, high fun outdoor activity with new friends.

Who knows; you might even work up the motivation to walk or run the 5K in the November Santa Clarita Marathon!   So let's get started together.  Running 101 begins the week of June 18 on Monday and Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m.  You can register now at www.santa-clarita.com/seasons

Let's get active and healthy Santa Clarita!
