Getting Creative For The SCV Youth Project

cakeThe 2nd Annual Sweet Charity Cake Auction is fast approaching, but there is still time to sponsor the event or register a cake and auction items.

The event, presented by Bellasport, Princess Cruises, Six Flags Magic Mountain, along and a number of other local businesses and organizations, looks to help generate funds for the Santa Clarita Valley Youth Project.

“One hundred percent of the proceeds go to the SCV Youth Project.” said Kim Goldman, Executive Director of the SCV Youth Project. We provide free peer mentoring, outreach education, and crisis intervention on all the junior high and high school campuses in the Santa Clarita Valley.”

For those looking to participate but don’t have the skills of a master chef; there are professional cake designers teaming up with this event to make sure everyone can proudly present a spectacular cake the night of the auction. The recommended cake designers include Jill’s Cake Creations, Clarice’s Cakes, and Babe’s Dessert Bar.

The reception for the event starts at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 27 at the Tournament Player’s Club golf course.  Tickets for the event are currently on sale.
