As graduates pull out their caps and gowns, you’ve got to figure out graduation gifts. Some students will want something sentimental and others will want help for their futures, so here are some ideas to get you started on your shopping list.
Think ahead…
Graduates are excited about future independence with their job and finances. Buy them stock, set them up with a resume writing service, or give them a book on their future field of study/career.

Think $$$…
Often, graduation from school means some form of graduation from mom and dad’s financial support. Whether you give them money in quarters, folded in a wallet, or in a giant check, your grad will appreciate it!
Think sentimental…
Many websites offer personalized jewelry, picture frames, clothing, and more. Consider filling a photo album with memories or giving an address book filled with friend’s addresses and phone numbers so the grad can take a piece of home with them wherever they go.
Think practical…
Find out what is on your high school graduate’s list for college and help them out. They may need something bigger like a car or laptop, and they will definitely need sheets, towels, organizers, laundry supplies (rolls of quarters!), backpacks, and food gift cards!
College grads may be preparing to live in their own place, so house-warming gifts are ideal. Also, a briefcase, gym membership, or bulk store membership can be valuable.
Think Experiential…
Buy your graduate a plane ticket or take them to do something that they might not have the money now, or in the near future, to do. Graduations are a great time to enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences!
