Chicago dance troupe invites interested parties to learn from the masters.
The world famous dance troupe, Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago
Company, will lead a master class for College of the Canyons dance students as
well as interested community members as a prelude to their performance Saturday
at the Santa Clarita Performing Art Center at College of the Canyons.
"This is a great opportunity for our students and interested community
members to get involved, beyond just buying a ticket, and a way to learn skills
from professional dancers,” said Dr. Floyd Moos, dean of fine and performing
arts. “This is a great opportunity for students and community members to learn
from some of the best."
The master class will be held at 11 a.m.
Saturday in Room 101 (dance studio) in Pico Canyon Hall and will be taught at
the beginner and intermediate level. The class is free and open to the public.
It will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and slots are limited.

As part of their west coast tour, Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago will perform at
the PAC later that day at 8 p.m.
