Deputies responded to a 911 call of child annoyance Friday afternoon around 4 p.m. in the 23000 block of Cerda Drive in Saugus. A 14-year old girl told the officers that she had been followed and approached by a car full of men while she walked home from school.
The girl was walking from Saugus High School when a gold-colored, four-door sedan containing four or five male Hispanics pulled up next to her twice in an attempt to contact her.

During the first encounter, the men waved and snickered at her, then drove away. When the vehicle returned and the occupants motioned for her to walk over to the car. The victim panicked and ran to the front door of the closest house to ask for help.
None of the suspects got out of the car and none of them physically approached her.
A search of the area was conducted but no suspects or vehicles were found. The investigation is continuing.
