Mervyn’s 13th annual ChildSpree is a back-to-school shopping spree for economically disadvantaged children…
On Saturday, August 6, 100 children aged 6 to 15 were given $100 to spend on clothes and shoes at Mervyn’s on Magic Mountain Parkway. The children were selected by the Child and Family Center and the Salvation Army.
The children also received free backpacks and 10% off all their purchases. Mervyn’s, CMA Resource and local Remax realtor Paul Atkins raised the $10,000 needed to give the 100 children a free shopping spree.
