Sheriff’s Department to host meeting that will arm the
public with ways to prevent crime.
Rather than wait to respond to crime, our Santa Clarita
Sheriff’s Department is sending out the message that in many cases, residents
can actually prevent crime in their homes, neighborhoods and daily lives.
With this in mind, a town hall meeting will be held on
Thursday September 18th, from 7:00
p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at
City Hall.
At the meeting, Sheriff’s representatives will offer advice
for all Santa Clarita residents regarding neighborhood watch programs, CAC
membership, reporting crime/graffiti, and even vacation checks.
The information is designed to empower residents to take an
active role in protecting their homes and families by staying vigilant and
joining the fight against crime.
