Got Issues? Let Us Ask The Candidates April 30

vote-button1_copy‘Tis the season for candidate forums and the only televised forum featuring both Assembly and Congressional candidates in June’s election – produced by all three media entities in the Santa Clarita Valley – KHTS AM 1220, SCVTV and The Signal Newspaper –  will be taped April 30 at the SCVTV studios in Newhall.

The panel will be moderated by SCVTV’s Leon Worden and questions will be asked by The Signal’s Jason Schaaf and KHTS AM 1220’s Carol Rock.

While the inquisitors have created a short list of pertinent issues to ask the candidates about, your input is still welcome. If you have a question or issue that you would like to have considered for the forum, please submit it via email to newsroom@hometownstation.com or info@scvtv.com.

Once completed, the forums will be aired in their entirety on Time Warner Channel 20, AT&T U-verse Channel 99 and live stream at 222.SCVTV.com.

The forum for 30th Assembly District candidates will air Saturday, May 5, at noon and Sunday, May 6, at 6 p.m. The forum for the 25th District Congressional candidates will air on Saturday, May 5 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 6 at 9 a.m. Additional showtimes will be listed online at SCVTV.com.

Deadline for questions is Friday, April 27, 2012.
