Grab Your Hammer And Trowel

handgSanta Clarita Valley Handymen, Jack-of-all-trades, and do-it-yourselfers, will have a place to shine and meet others akin to all things home and garden at the Santa Clarita Home and Garden Show.

The show, which takes place on Saturday June 26 through Sunday June 27 at the Gateway Promenade on The Old Road, will showcase more than 70 vendors offering products from screen doors to art.

“More than 90 percent of the vendors at the Home and Garden Show are local businesses,” said Sharon Bronson, who is helping organize the event.

HGTV’s Design on a Dime star Summer Baltzer will be hosting two seminars at the event.

Some of the vendors include: Valencia Vinyl, Surfaces USA, B&R Art Gallery, and the Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts.

The show will also feature a number of food vendors and have a stage for local groups to host performances.

The show is sponsored by KHTS AM 1220, Castaic Lake Water Agency, Feathers Digital Graphics, Green Convergence and At Home Magazine.

Tickets can be purchased at the KHTS Studio and The Home Consignment Center.

The Gateway Promenade and the Home Consignment Center are located at 28738 The Old Road, two miles north of Magic Mountain Parkway and next door to the CHP.
