According to the host of “The Rock,” the annual event attracts major music acts and big crowds. “Gracefest brings in some of the top Christian artists from all over the country,” said McKeever. “Last year they had almost 5000 people.”
The Friday night event kickoff presents a Prayer Rally from 5pm to 8pm. Local pastors are scheduled to speak, along with special periods of prayer and soft music to fill the air. McKeever said this year’s event will also feature a keynote speaker from the Billy Graham Evangelical Association.
Saturday’s main event presents will feature live music, a book table, T-Shirt booth, raffle booth, and numerous food and beverage concessionaires. The prayer tent, prayer wall and special guest speakers return on Saturday and all national artists will meet and greet their fans at their merchandise tables. Prayer tent lineup to be announced soon. Gates open at 11:00 a.m. and event ends at 9:00 p.m.
Carry-in food, coolers, lawn chairs, and blankets are permitted for all attendee’s. E-Z Up’s, alcoholic beverages, smoking, and pets are prohibited.
