Graphic and Multimedia Design Classes Offered Again at COC

SANTA CLARITA-The College of the Canyons

Graphic and Multimedia Design department is offering three short term, credit/no credit classes, June 20 to June 30, Monday through Thursday.

Because of the high popularity of these classes during the previous Institute, and requests to have the classes again, two introductory classes and one short-term lab are being offered.

The first class, Introduction to Photoshop (GMD 047), is a one-unit class for the person who wants to learn the basics of how to work with Adobe Photoshop.

Introduction to Dreamweaver (GMD 071) is a one-unit class that teaches a student the essential elements of creating a Web site using Dreamweaver.

The third class is a half unit, open computer lab (GMD 090L) available for students enrolled in any Graphic and Multimedia Design class involving a Macintosh computer.

All three classes will help improve computer skills and allow students to become familiar with different computer programs.

The enrollment fee for these Graphic and Multimedia Design classes is $26 a unit.

To register for these classes, go to the College of the Canyons website at www.canyons.edu or call the STAR registration system at (661) 255-2867 or (888) 206-STAR.
