A local elementary school, which generated the most sign-ups for Screamin Coupons, was the recipient of school supplies this morning.
Mitchell Community Elementary School in Canyon Country generated more than 200 new sign-ups for Screamin Coupons emails, besting four other schools for the top spot.
“This is a great opportunity for us to benefit the community,” said Benson Kane, cofounder of Screamin Coupons. “We are able to benefit merchants, consumers, schools and individual communities.”
Screamin Coupons is a website where they provide certificates to local businesses at a discount price.
The coupons help generate awareness and costumers for the businesses, while also generating money for our schools by giving back 5-10 percent based on users selecting which school they want to support.
The entire school came out for the presentation of the supplies, rounding up more than 700 students for a picture around the playground equipment.
Mrs. Waller’s fourth grade class generated the most sign-ups for the school and in return won a pizza party.
Another competition is being planned for the near future and all schools are invited to join in for a chance to win.
