The Democratic Club of the Santa Clarita Valley is hosting a fundraiser holiday party Dec. 29 from 7-10 p.m. to benefit the Santa Clarita Valley Emergency Winter Shelter.

The party is a nonpartisam event, open to all members of the community, and its sponsors are asking for those who would like to attend to bring a few of the items listed here, or a $20 donation.

The event is also a potluck dinner, and participants are asked to bring a dish that could feed six to 10 people.

The party will take place at 26523 North Huntswood Lane, Fair Oaks Ranch in Santa Clarita.
