Baby, it’s cold outside. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will fall to low 50s along with a fair amount of rain through Tuesday. The wet weather isn’t a problem for any us: just stay inside. Case closed.

The Angeles County Department of Animal Care Control strives to protect and shelter not only strays, but also abused animals as well.
This holiday season, the department is teaming with Found Animals, an L.A. nonprofit, for the third annual Paw-Lidays adoption event. December 18-24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at select locations prospective pet owners will receive 50 percent savings off the adoption price.
“It provides good opportunities for people to find a family pet this time of year,” said Lisa Eldridge, a sergeant with the department’s Castaic Animal Shelter.
Found Animals has donated several dog beds and gift baskets that are available if you decide to adopt one on the animals.
