Anticipating a large audience of community members, the Governing Board of the William S. Hart Union High School District has moved its Wednesday, Feb. 21, meeting to the Hart Auditorium. Public session begins at 7:30 p.m.
Early on the agenda, the board will take up its discussion on housing of students from the Castaic community until a new high school can be opened in the Castaic area. The item is on the agenda as information/action, which will allow the board to take action on the item if it chooses, or continue to gather information and conduct discussion on the issue.
The full agenda and back-up material will be posted on the Internet after 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16. It can be accessed from www.hartdistrict.org by clicking on “Governing Board” at the top of the page. Browsers can then select the meeting date and “Board Packet” to access the full agenda and all supporting materials.
Audience members who wish to address the Governing Board can complete speaker cards which will be available in the auditorium lobby on the meeting night. The board can limit the time allotted per speaker and per discussion issue in order to complete its full agenda of business scheduled for the evening.
The Hart Auditorium is located at 24825 Newhall Ave. in Newhall, on the campus of Hart High School. Due to concerns about safety, large signs and placards will not be allowed in the auditorium.
