Five candidates offer perspective on a high school in Castaic, budget cuts and more.
A joint debate between the candidates for William S. Hart School District Governing Board was taped last week, hosted by SCVTV, The Signal and KHTS AM-1220. The program will air several times in the coming days.
Five candidates are vying for three open seats, of which only Paul Strickland is seeking re-election. Joe Messina, Linda Valdes, Bob Jensen and Suzan Solomon are first time candidates for the Hart School District, although each has been involved in other local organizations and/or publicly elected boards.
