Hart District Gears Up for 30th Annual Rampage At College Of The Canyons

Thirty-four local marching bands and color guards from the Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding areas will join the William S. Hart High School Regiment at the College of the Canyons as they host their 30th Anniversary Rampage on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 9:15 p.m.

Rampage 2012This event, judged by the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association, will feature live band performances, food vendors, merchandise and raffle prizes, including a 60-inch flatscreen television.

The day-long competition will end with a mass drumline.

Hart Regiment is also asking for alumni volunteers to help with bus parking, band check-in, concessions and the all-day barbeque, among other things.

It takes more than 300 volunteer shifts to pull off the event, according to Hart Regiment staff.

William S. Hart Union High School District performance times are as follows:

Rampage admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students and free for children under 5.
