The lawsuit entitled Alabi, et al. v. William S. Hart Union High School District has been resolved.
The plaintiffs stand by the allegations made in the lawsuit, and the District denies that it engaged in any wrongdoing or any violation of law. Nevertheless, in order to avoid the expense and time consumption entailed by protracted litigation, the parties have agreed that resolution at this time was in the best interest of the plaintiffs, students, parents and achievement of the educational goals of the District.
The parties also agree that the District’s implementation of appropriate recommendations made by the District’s Ad Hoc Committee on Diversity are to their mutual benefit and will benefit all District stakeholders and the community at large.
