Instructors Needed For Career-Oriented Classes
[view:node_ad=5] High school graduates with at least five years of full-time experience in the fields of nursing, automotive technology, wildland fire, photography, robotics, hotel and entertainment, and culinary arts are invited to apply for part-time positions as instructors for the William S. Hart High School District’s Regional Occupational Program.
To qualify for a preliminary vocational credential, applicants should have five years of full time experience in the field with at least one year of experience within the last three years. Some of the experience requirement can be replaced by formal education in the subject area.
Education beyond high school is not necessarily a requirement; practical industry experience is more important, according to Ron Rudzinski, coordinator of career-technical education.
ROP instructors teach six to ten hours weekly and the pay rate is currently $33 per hour.
Interested individuals should contact Jodie Walker at 259-0033, extension 231, or by e-mail at JAWALKER@hartdistrict.org.
