Hart District Officials Asking For Community Input

 The Hart School District Governing Board is seeking applications to fill three vacancies on the Citizen’s Oversight Committee.

The group is being formed to review expenditures of Measure V school bond funds. One member should be a senior citizen, others will be members at large.
Applications are due on Nov. 7, 2012.

The committee meets monthly to review the district’s building plans and assure that Measure V funds are spent in accordance with the measure approved by local voters in 2001 for $158 million. Committee members appointed to fill the current vacancies will serve a two- year term or until all funds have been committed and expended.

Applications are available online, along with guidelines at: http://hartdistrict.org/oversight/MeasureV/default.htm, click on Membership, then Application or Guidelines and download the forms. Applications are also available at the District Office located at 21515 Centre Pointe Pkwy, Santa Clarita, CA 91350.

Completed applications are to be submitted to Pam Mencuri, William S. Hart Union High School District, 21515 Centre Pointe Parkway, Santa Clarita, CA, 91350 or emailed to pmencuri@hartdistrict.org. Deadline for application submission is 4 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Completed applications become public records and cannot be kept confidential by law.
