Hart District Seeking Principals for A Day

Popular event opens reservations

ImageReservations are currently available for parents, business executives and community leaders who would like to spend the morning with a superintendent, assistant superintendent, principal or assistant principal in the 16th Annual Principal for a Day sponsored by the SCV Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation. This year’s event is Monday, Oct. 29, but the earliest reservations will have their choice of school or administrator.

Participants spend the morning shadowing an administrator from one of the five school districts in the valley, getting a first-hand perspective of the educational environment. The event concludes with a catered luncheon at the Santa Clarita Activities Center. The tax-deductible donation ranges from $150 for an elementary, junior high or middle school principal to $400 for a superintendent, with $200, $300 and $350 levels for administrators at other levels.
