William S. Hart School Board members will review a possible Professional Services Agreement with a company to establish a communication plan in regard to the planning and development process for a new high school in Castaic.
A company called Communications for Schools has been recommended by the District’s Growth Committee for the task, which could include assisting in building awareness about the decision-making process for Castaic high, as well as keeping the information flowing between the District and the community.
The agreement dictates that Communications for Schools could be paid up to $10,000 for the service, which District staff says could be reimbursed by Measure SA funds.
If the board approves the agreement, the District aims to use the communication resources to forge school/family/community partnerships.
