Health And Beauty Tips From Local Experts

Looking to add to its successful group of newsletters geared toward local interests, KHTS is launching a weekly health and beauty newsletter featuring articles written by experts in their field.

“We’ve had so much success with our daily e-mails that now we’re able to launch specialized newsletters such as our Emergency Alerts, Top Things To Do and Hometown Recipes,” said station co-owner Carl Goldman.

Don’t miss a thing. Get breaking news alerts delivered right to your inbox.

The Health and Beauty Newsletter will be written by professionals from Celebrity Beauty Supply, Glen Ivy Back To Health, Rituals, Hot Yoga Haven, Elegant Shapes, Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, Valencia Pharmacy, Lussier, Labels Dress and Santa Clarita Adventure Boot. Local experts Carolyn Griffin, Pat News and Neal Green will also contribute.

“People are looking for this type of content, and we’re able to provide it from a local perspective,” said Goldman. “They’re a very quick read, which is good because they don’t become overwhelming.”

The articles will be posted throughout the week at hometownstation.com and then compiled in the newsletter, sent every Thursday.

“This is new territory for us, and as we’ve learned with out website, which now the most read in the Santa Clarita Valley, we’re no longer just a radio station.”
