A Relaxing Retreat Close To Home

Through the family vacations and visits, it is easy to get claustrophobic. If you are looking for a way to keep the family busy and have a relaxing day, Glen Ivy Day Spa has a solution.

The Grotto experience is exclusive to Glen Ivy and has been compared to a “luxurious mud bath from another country,” by customers. The experience takes you into a cave-like room where you are dressed in your bathing suit and ready to relax.

Your first step is to rinse in the rain shower and then have an aromatic exfoliating scrub applied to clean out your pores. After rinsing, you then have the unique green moisturizing masque applied to your body.

The masque contains aloe vera, shea butter, coconut oil and other ingredients that are moisturizing and beneficial to your skin. The next step is to move into the sauna like “Hydrating Chamber” where you relax and chat with your company for around 15 minutes.

Once you feel ready, you can move on to a multi-head shower to rinse off the masque and continue to the last phase of the experience. A cup of Glen Ivy Tea and a refreshing apple are provided in the cooling mist chamber to lock in the moisture and finish the experience.

This experience is perfect for groups of friends or family and is offered at Glen Ivy’s convenient Valencia Town Center location. It is also a great way to celebrate your birthday with friends, especially when it is free for you on your birthday.
