You Are What You Eat – So Don’t Be Fast, Cheap & Easy

Better choices to fuel your on-the-run lifestyle, without getting burned. Lifestyle tips from Santa Clarita Chiropractor Dr. Thomas Polucki.

You are what you eat. So don’t be fast, cheap and easy.

If the Surgeon General said you could save 1100 percent on future medical expenses, would you trade in the drive-through for a kale salad?

If you could have fewer, less severe aches, pains, allergies and digestive problems, would you drink an ounce of water for every two pounds of your body weight, every day?

If you could reduce your risk of cancer by 70 percent, would you exercise for 20 minutes a day?

If you could get through your day with energy and focus, without coffee or sports drinks, would you go to sleep by 10 p.m.?

It will certainly require a change in the way we do health in America to go from 37th to first, but I believe we can change, not because we must, but because it’s time for US to be great again.

And it starts with each of us taking back our power when it comes to health.

Food, Water, Sleep & Exercise: Where to Start

Here is where you can start:

  • Can you trade you chips and fries for raw vegetables?
  • Can you drink water instead of diet soda or sports drink?
  • Can you not fall for the Bad Science that vaping and e-cigs are OK?
  • Can you go for a walk after dinner instead of sitting in front of the computer or TV?
  • Can you trust a chiropractor to take care of that back pain or shoulder tension that won’t go away
no matter how many pills you take?

This may be asking more from some than others but ask yourself: Are you ready to be the change you want to see?

If you, a friend, or a family member requires care, we sincerely appreciate the trust and confidence shown by choosing our services and look forward in serving you and your family both presently and into the future.
