Beliefs die hard but with a pain killer addiction epidemic and failed back surgery statistics soaring, many people look for a better option than drugs and surgery.

Before you believe the Bad Science “90% success rate” claimed by just about every orthopedic surgeon, you need to know that according to the National Center for Biotechnology Information, U.S. National Library of Medicine.

Between thirty and forty percent of back surgery patients each year experience a relapse within two years.

And twenty nine percent of back surgery patients get worse.

So less than half the people who get back surgery get better and if you fall prey to this medical misadventure, the only answer you’ll get from the surgeon is more surgery.

But more surgeries get scheduled now than ever because:

Not to mention, 50,000 people go to the emergency room every year because of Over The Counter pain relievers. Acetaminophen now ranks as the number one cause of liver failure.

And recently the American College of Physicians and even the 5FDA changed their long standing warnings against chiropractic and started recommending that back pain sufferers see a chiropractor.

And as crazy as this may seem, I would never recommend that outdated model of chiropractic.

While many chiropractors promote themselves as cutting edge or state of the art, they use 19th century technology to manipulate the spine.

Twisting and cracking the spine may offer temporary relief for some devoted chiropractic fans but it is not necessary to get better.

Some Doctors of Chiropractic invest in even more post graduate education so they can provide the proven benefits of chiropractic without twisting or cracking spines.
