OK, how long did that re-energize you? Did you get everything you needed to go give some more? Or did you react (internally or externally) in the first stressful moment?

Giving ourselves little rewards may be very helpful, but they don’t address the inner source of our unhealthy behaviors and feelings.

Uh, oh! What’s inside may be uncomfortable, but realize it’s presenting itself outwardly in one way or another. Insecurity, fear, confusion, anger represent junk caught inside we think we’ve already dealt with.Polucki - Mothers Day

Can you imagine if all the mothers in the world were full of joy and love, patience and grace? How do you think such a phenomenon would impact the men and sons in their lives?

(Flipping the genders, can you imagine if all the dads in the world were full of joy and love, patience and grace, too? How that could better the lives of their wives and daughters?)

What if it were easier than appears? As humans, we do have the ability to change our perspective as a built-in tool for success.

If you’re wondering, it’s no surprise the answer is far simpler than continuing the same old pattern: TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF FIRST.

There is a reason you’re supposed to put on your oxygen mask before helping another. How can you help someone else if you’re passing out?

The best way to take better care of the ones you love is to take better care of yourself, physically, mentally, emotionally.

You can start with your physical health. Seek health care rather than drug dispensers! Find a chiropractor, acupuncturist, herbalist, or nutritionist to help you cleanse from the inside out.

Then clear your space of all but what you use or hold sacred. Work from the outside in, and the inside out. Find a connection to your spirit and set yourself free!!

If you start simple and look for ways to enjoy releasing the toxins and stresses of your everyday life, you’ll find you have more energy and a happier mood – to the delight of everyone you love, including your children, spouse, parents, community, employers and yourself!
