Put On Your High Heels For A Good Cause

Every woman has a pair of fabulous must-have heels, so it’s time to get those heels moving for a good cause.

The 3rd annual High Heel-A-Thon presented by the members of the Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley is set to take place on May 22 and is asking that you pull out those stilettos and “stomp out” domestic dating violence.

The 150-yard walk will benefit the Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarita, Break the Cycle, and Valley Trauma Center. Participants will head over to Veteran’s Plaza and stomp 150 yards down Walnut Street to Egg Plantation, and then enjoy concessions and great vendors.

Participating in the Heel-A-Thon with a team multiplies the fun, the laughter and strengthens the impact that you have to “Stomp Out Domestic and Dating Violence.

Prizes will be awarded for the team with the best high heels, the best costumes, the most spirit and the best sign. Yoga Works is awarding the leading “Power Team” a private yoga party for 20 people. Gather a team of friends and register today.

Labels SCV, a hip fashion boutique in the Santa Clarita Valley, is a sponsor for this great event. Storeowner, Jill Stephens, finds this cause close to her heart.

And if you are looking for a pair of last-minute heels to wear to the High Heel-A-Thon, visit Labels SCV where there is a wide array of heels that have been “pre-loved” and renewed.
