“I looked for eight months all over the San Fernando Valley, Noho, Burbank, and I could not find a place that had everything that we needed,” said club owner Charles Seifert, in a KHTS radio interview, “Santa Clarita is one of the most business-friendly communities with respect to permitting and getting the work done.”
Located in the Bouquet Shopping Center, Title Boxing Club transformed the previous Payless Shoesource into a modern boxing gym.
“We have a beautiful ring, we have 42 bags, we’ve got regular workout equipment at the club,” said Seifert, “When you’re a member of the club, you can come and work out any time you like during our normal business hours.”
Seifert said that Title Boxing Club separates itself from other boxing gyms by keeping their facilities clean and maintaining a policy of “no judgement.”
“It’s all about positive reinforcement,” said Seifert, “It’s all about learning. It’s all about getting fit. It’s all about having fun.”
The gym also allows people to try a class for free, said officials.
“We have a really cool program called First Shot Free,” said Seifert, “So a novice beginner can come right in, we have loaner gloves and all you do is buy a pair of wraps for $10, come into a class, and do a class for free.”
Title Boxing Club is located at 26574 Bouquet Canyon Rd, and is open Monday-Friday from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. – 12 p.m.
