Who Knew Nail Polish Could Be This Much Fun?

Written by Michelle Linzy

Celebrity Beauty Supply and Salon carries the incredibly cool Katy Perry OPI collection. This nail polish collection is nothing like your mother or your grandmother’s standard nail polish.  This new, hip, fun and innovative polish allows the wearer to create one-of-a-kind designs on each individual nail with the help of Black Shatter.

The four base colors in this collection are named after Katy Perry songs, Last Friday Night (a glittery blue), Not Like the Movies (a sultry silver), Teenage Dream (a to-die-for pink) and the One That Got Away (an absolutely gorgeous deep berry).  These shades are super girly, super fun and super cool.  Once you apply the shade(s) you want, the next step is to add the Black Shatter topcoat.  Black Shatter shrinks as it dries creating a cracked effect that allows the undercoat to shine through.  Even if you don’t care for the Katy Perry colors, you can put Black Shatter over any polish.

According to Haley Miller at Celebrity Beauty Supply, “people are drawn to it because it is more unique nail polish, the colors are fun and ultimately everyone loves the Black Shatter effect.”
