Health And Wellness Fair Offers Free Screenings

scv-chamber-seal-low-resHenry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital and the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce invite everyone to spend some time at the 3rd annual SCV Chamber of Commerce Health and Wellness Fair to learn about healthy lifestyles and the wide range of healthcare services available in the Santa Clarita Valley.

The event, which is free to the community, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26 at College of the Canyons Student Center, 26455 N. Rockwell Canyon Road, Valencia.

Henry Mayo will offer a variety of free health information and screenings, including cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, and balance. The screenings are free.

Henry Mayo clinical staff will also be on hand to answer questions about hospital services, including stroke care, mammography, maternity services, physical therapy and health education classes offered at the hospital.

In addition to Henry Mayo, a wide variety of local healthcare professionals and businesses, including experts in family medicine, pediatrics, physical therapy, and dentistry, will be on hand to present information and answer questions about their services.

Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital is the title sponsor for the SCV Chamber’s Health and Wellness Fair.
