A severe care accident occurred off of the 14 freeway in Palmdale this afternoon. The crash involved a vehicle hitting the back of a parked truck.

[view:node_ad=5]Fire officials reported that an emergency helicopter had to make a landing on the 14 freeway at Vista Point to pick up a critical victim of the crash. This prompted the full closure of all northbound traffic.

 

Another passenger was trapped in the car for a time.
